Male Wellness

Men develop hormonal imbalances starting in their early thirties. The most common male hormones: testosterone, DHEA, human growth factor hormone, and pregnenolone all play a role in male hormone health. Most men enter the andropause phase which decreases hormone production. After the age of thirty, the male hormones decrease about 10% every +/-12 years. Hormonal imbalance can occur from abnormal stress levels, poor diet, lack of sleep, smoking, and alcohol intake.

The most common symptoms include:

  • erectile dysfunction
  • low libido or sex drive
  • muscle atrophy (wasting away)
  • depression
  • weight gain
  • urinary problems
  • sleep apnea
  • fatigue
  • hair loss

Dr. Ted will help determine if you are a candidate for bio-identical hormone replacement therapy through specialized laboratory testing, reviewing your medical history and most importantly, listening and focusing on your issues of concern. If you suffer from the above symptoms, don't hesitate and give our office a call or click Contact Us to fill out our form and one of our friendly staff members will contact you soon to set up an appointment.
