
Food Allergy Testing
A food allergy occurs when certain foods trigger an abnormal immune response. They can create the following symptoms: sinusitis, constipation, diarrhea, IBS, migraines, obesity, psoriasis, eczema and chronic inflammatory makers. Symptoms can occur in a few minutes or a few hours after the exposure.
Symptoms include:
- Difficulty breathing
- Swelling of the tongue, mouth or face
- Vomiting
- Hives
- Itchy rash
- Red skin
- Anaphylaxis
Our office uses specific blood tests to determine any food allergies depending upon the severity of the conditions.
The following tests are:
- Basic Food Allergen Profile IgE (an immediate allergic reaction/ a few minutes)
- Allergens 39 Foods IgG (a delayed allergic reaction/ several hours - three days)

Inhalant Allergy Testing
An inhalant allergy can be triggered by any airborne irritants received from dust mites, molds, trees, grasses, pollen, pets such as dogs and cats, etc.
Symptoms include:
- Sinusitis
- Red, watery, irritated, eyes
- Constant sneezing
- Running nose/congestion
- Difficulty breathing
- Shortness of breath
- Wheezing
Our office uses a simple blood test to determine if the patient has any inhalant allergies depending on specific patient's allergy zone.
